This fall, TriQuarterly is open to free submissions from October 1 to December 1, 2020 (and January 15, 2021 for video essays), for our 160th issue. We will be working with guest editors to select and curate work exclusively by Black poets, prose writers, and video artists for June 2021.

We are seeking visual art, performance art, short films, spoken-audio pieces, creative fiction and nonfiction, poetry, hybrid work, photo essays, graphic novels, and more by women of ALL ages and ALL walks of life. OyeDrum is committed to presenting diverse and inclusive work. Our current theme is sex! Women’s ability to talk about sex and our own sexual desires are still largely influenced by our patriarchal-based society. Full Bleed, an annual journal of art and design, seeks submissions for its fifth issue, forthcoming in May 2021. We publish criticism, belle lettres, artwork, design, illustration, fiction, poetry, and graphic essays. For Issue Five, we are especially interested in submissions on the theme of adaptation. July Submission Deadlines
The Daphne Review is seeking writers/teachers to act as mentors for their virtual Summer Mentorship Program. They are also taking applications from high school student writers to attend the program. The mentorship will run from August 3 through 28. There will be classes in flash fiction and poetry. Deadline to submit mentor or attendee applications is July 31.
Haunted Waters Press is open to submissions of fiction that is exactly 20 words, no more and no less, for its regular feature Penny Fiction. There is no fee to submit. Deadline is July 31.
Into the Void will be publishing a poetry and prose anthology called We Are Antifa: Expressions Against Fascism, Racism and Police Violence in the United States and Beyond. They seek poetry, fiction, or creative nonfiction which concerns this topic in some way. Over 50% of the writers included will be people of color. Payment is CA$15 per poem/flash and CA$30 per prose piece, plus a contributor copy. $4.95 tip jar submission.
Xi Draconis Books seeks socially engaged, book-length works of fiction, nonfiction, and poetry for its 2020 and 2021 production years. They accept novels, short story and poetry collections, memoirs, essay collections, and cross-genre book-length works.
